Wax Paper Heart Embellishments

Hello, Hello!

Over the Summer, I began to really get into Mixed Media. I still of course consider myself a beginner and student of the craft. However, I must share with you all that it is a very freeing craft…to just what seems like anyway, throw some stuff together to create what essentially will be a masterpiece. It’s freeing and you have an ultimate sense of instant gratitude…..and it is absolutely amazing. 🙂
Anyway, the tutorial I would like to share with you is a very simple one. One in which you can create in less thank 5 minutes. Yes, you read correctly….LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. I will be sharing with you all how to make Wax Paper Heart Embellishments.

Materials Needed:
Wax Paper from your local grocery store
Staz On Ink Pad of any color (I used Jet Black)
Heart Stamp (or any other heart in which you can fussy cut the image easily)

Crumple wax paper into a ball
Smoothed the wax paper out unto your workspace.
Ink up stamp
Stamp straight onto the wax paper
Fussy cut the images

Now you can feel free to add your heart (or other) embellishments onto scrapbook layouts, handmade cards, art journal page, ATC, etc. Below, I added some of the hearts to a Mixed Media page I was was working on at the time. This may become a card front one day….I’m not sure yet. 🙂

Let me know if any of you try out this technique and let me know how it goes and what you use the embellishments on.

Work It Out!

I know it has been a while…I won’t bore you with the details,  but I’m glad to be back.  I have a few things in store and hope you will join me along the way.  Until then,  please enjoy this card I was able to create this evening.
