Today, I’m sharing my ICADs from Days 16-today. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! ☺
Day 16: I decided to do a little stamping and stenciling. I used a Heidi Swapp Spray Stencil with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and outlined the stenciled pattern with a Pilot Pen. Next using Jet Black Archival Ink, I used a Dylusions Stamp to create the female outline and then I colored that in with Tim Holtz Distress Ink that I added water to. Lastly, I inked my edges with my Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen Big Brush (Black).
Day 17: This card was all about using one color and adding a piece of mail to it. So I paired up this piece of Victoria Secret mailer from back in February with a black acrylic paint in the background.
Day 18: I was short on time, so I went through my magazine cutouts and found this beautiful mountain view, found a fitting magazine saying, inked my edges and I was done. I love this one. I think this one might end up in my planner. The mountain view from the lake just looks so peaceful!
Day 19: This one was so fun to make, plus it just makes me laugh! First I used a Tim Holtz Stencil with Distress Ink and then began looking through my magazine cutouts and found this chick. Once I saw her, I grabbed another Tim Holtz stencil, put that on my background, glued my girl down and added the quote from a Dylusions Stamp Set. Inked my edges added some color to the quote and that’s all she wrote! 🙂
Day 20: Isn’t she stunning?!? This quote was sitting on my fest waiting to be used! First I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink mixed with water for my background, glued this beauty down, added my quote, added a little more pink to her lips, cheeks and eyelids…but she was missing something, so lucky I quickly found the perfect necklace that I cut down to size to look like a headpiece. Now she looks like a Brave, Beautiful Princess.
Day 21: It’s all about the circles! I wanted to make circles so I did! It doesn’t really show up here, but I love how vibrant this card is in person.
Day 22: And lastly, the butterfly! I painted my background using acrylic paint, added some Tim Holtz tissue wrap, painted the butterfly, added some dots to her and some Wink of Stella Glitter, for some added sparkle and finished up the card with a quote from a Dylusions Stamp Set.
Thank you so much for sticking me through this long post. Until tomorrow, take care.
