February Planning

Hello Everyone!

I’m working full speed ahead with my February planning!  I can’t wait to share what I come up with.

Happy Planning!!!!

Chic Planning:  January 25-31, 2016

Hello loves!

Today, I just wanted to share a quick post to showcase my planner layout for this week. Since it’s the last week of the month (WOW!), I decided to step away from my running weekly trend of gold and add some silver in my spread along with some other warm colors.  So let’s get started with this week’s layout!

Left Side Up Close.

As you all probably guessed, it’s all about Paris this week!

Right Side Up Close.

This right side is just as fun as the left side!

Full Layout. Materials Used: My Planner Envy The Happy Planner Paris Sampler; Lily Beaches 83 Free Printable; the Paper Studio Stick-a-bilities Paris Foil Stickers; Recollections Dimensional Stickers French Macaroons; Memento Dew Drop Fade Resistant Dye Ink – Bahama Blue; Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Peacock Feathers; Penny Black “T for Transparent” Mini In Paris Clesr Dtamp Set; Hero Srts Poly Clesr Stamp Set – Paris; Silver Glitter Washi Tape

Since we are drawing closer to February, the month of love, I thought doing a layout with a Paris theme should be a fun transition into February. I paired as ticket set from Hobby Lobby with a Sticker Sampler by My Planner Envy to create an overall fun and cohesive look.  Thank you for stopping by and checking out my planner layout for this week. Now it’s time for me to start planning!
Until next time Happy Planning!

Weekly Planning: January 18-24, 2016

Hello Everyone!

Im so excited about sharing this spread with you all. So let’s get started!

Left Side.

This is the left side of my spread. I decided to keep up with the gold theme/color as I have for the previous week’s. This time, there’s more black and I’m loving the pop of the pink!  For the left side bar, I decided to go with this reminder that it’s important to do the things that I love. In life we tend to get boggled down with the day-to-day and we can easily forget about our personal needs. So I just wanted to remind myself to be sure to do something just for me this week.

Right Side.

On the right side I used a few stickers that are aside from the main sticker sample created by Andrea Nicole. Overall, I think it flows nicely with the left side.

Full Spread. Materials Used: Sandra Amelia Stamp Set, Andrea Nicole Printable, Brilliance Galaxy Gold Pigment Ink, Additional printable stickers from stash, Sticko mini frozen treats themed stickers, Heidi Swapp Memory Planner Stickers, Mambi Sticks Stickers/Paper Stickers/Gold & Black Clear Stickers, Simple Stories Clear Stickers, The Paper Studio Stick-a/bilities Gold & Black Clear Stickers/Gold Washi Tape, Scotch Expressions Punk & White Washi Tape

Above is the full spread. To say I love it would be an understatement. I feel the washi tape, diamond stamp and the other sticker embellishments came together nicely with the  Andrea Nicole Sticker Sampler.  Now it’s time to get my pen and start planning!

Happy Planning!

Happy Planner Layout:  January 11-17, 2016

Hello Everyone!

Even though we are already almost half way through the month of January, it still feels weird typing/writing 2016!  LOL. But it is 2016 nonetheless. So let’s get started with this week’s planner layout.

Above are the materials I used when making this week’s layout. The Black, White & Gold Sticker Sampler is from My Planner Envy….LOVE!  I also used washi tape from the Paper Studio (at Hobby Lobby) and the pen and paper pad are from Target.

Above is the left side of my layout. I think the page came together well, and I love the quote from the My Planner Envy Sampler:  “I’m not beautiful like you, I’m beautiful like me.”

Here is the right side of the page. I love all the little embellishments that Jessica Brown adds to her sticker samplers. They always seem to tie everything together just right.

And lastly here is the full layout side by side.  I hope you all enjoyed my planner layout for this week.

Until next time, Happy Planning!

Hello Sunshine 2016:  Project Life, January 1-3, 2016

Hello, hello, hello!!!!

Today, I wanted to talk about Project Life. I first heard about Project Life in 2009…I tried to give it a try and at the time, it wasn’t the right fit for me…I tried again in 2011, and the same thing happened. I think I may have been over thinking the whole process, because FINALLY  in 2013, I completed my first whole Project Life Album and I’ve been going at it ever since!

For my 2016 Project Life, I will be using the Becky Higgins Project Life Desktop Edition Binder as seen below.

I am totally loving the gold and white stripes. I usually end up using 2 albums for the year, so I always buy them 2 at a time.  I actually found these at Wal*mart for $9.84 each!

Since New Years fell at the end of the week, I wanted to be sure to capture the first three days/first weekend of the New Year separate…so the date won’t be identified on the layout.

In creating my spread for January 1-3, 2016, I decided to keep things very simple on the materials front.  I used the following:  Becky Higgins Project Life Lucky Charm Kit, The Paper Studio Alpha Clear Bling Stickers, Gold Alpha Stickers also by The Paper Studio, Making Memories Shimmer Alpha Black Sticker, and my Corner Chomper.

The Lucky Charm Kit is absolutely adorable!  See below to see what all comes in the kit:

Cardstock Embellishments

4×6 Journaling & Filler Cards

4×6 Journaling & Filler Cards

The thing I like the most about Project Life is that over the last 3 years it has helped me to truly focus on the little things that create the bigger picture called life.  Also, we all enjoy looking back at the albums and seeing how far we’ve come and the great memories that we have been able to make. All of the albums, (our family yearbook) are definitely treasured. So let’s get started won’t first layout for 2016!

Left Side Up Close.

Here is the left side of my layout. I generally do a two page spread for each week. Sometimes, depending on the week, I may add additional pages between the two 12×12 pages to fully capture our week.  I love how my DH took picture of me and Elle playing Uno. It was her first time playing and she loved it!!!

Right Side Close Up.

Above is the right side of my layout. As a New Year’s tradition, the girls like to drink Sparkling Apple Cider in champagne glasses. And on New Year’s Day when we were on our way to Target little Em thought it would be fun to mark up her face with a blue marker. I can’t wait to see what she has to say about this picture as she gets older.

Full Layout.

Finally here is the full layout side by side.  We definitely enjoyed our first 3 days of 2016 and are looking forward to making more great memories throughout the year!
Are any of you also working on Project Life Albums this year?  If so out a link in the comments sections as I would love to see your work. And if you are new to the Project Life concept, please click here to learn more.

Happy Crafting!

Planner Layout:  January 4-10, 2016

Hello Everyone!!!!

It’s hard to believe that we are into the first week of 2016. The kids are back in school and the Holiday Season is officially over!  WOW!  I really feel like 2015 came and went like a passing breeze!  I’m excited for 2016 and all of the great things that will come this year. I am open to new and exciting experiences and hope to share those things with you all here on the blog.

And with that being said, let’s get to this layout for the first week of the new year!

Full Spread for the week.

For this week’s spread, I am again using some printables from My Planner Envy. I am using the Bronze & Mint Sticker Sampler, along with some Washi Tape by the Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby and the On Trend 6×6 paper pack by My Mind’s Eye…and that is it.

Left Side Close Up.

Right Side Close Up.

I like how the washi tape and the cardstock compliment the sticker sampler by My Planner Envy to pull everything together nicely.

Until next time, Happy Planning!
