Mini Haul

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share with you all my most recent haul. I recently went to Michael’s and Hobby Lobby and found some goodies. See below:

I picked up the stamps at Hobby Lobby and everything else came from Michael’s. I’m thinking these ladies may find their way into my planner sometime very soon…and I can’t wait to use them on a mixed media page. I will more than likely use the bows to make DIY paper clips and I’m thinking I’ll use the Bobby pins as clips in my planner as well. I’ve been looking for a good white ink pad, so I’ll keep you all posted on how this one works out for me. And the sticky notes were just too cute to pass up!  LOl.

Well I hope you enjoyed this mini haul. Hank S for joining me. Until next time,

Happy Crafting!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!  We enjoyed a craft activity and egg hunt at Michael’s and then we had our annual Easter  Egg Hunt at our home with the girls. Yesterday was the usual, church, opening up Easter baskets and dinner along with preparing for the week.

So for a while now, I have wanted to try to do a mixed media layout in my planner. I was just nervous about possible bleed through…but last week one of my favorite Mixed Media Artist, Shelley Chavis posted her documented life process on her blog and it was just the push I needed to go ahead and create a mixed media spread myself. So here we go!

 Left Side.

  Right Side.

Materials Used are at the end if this post.

The whole spread!  I had so much fun creating this spread…THERE WASNT ANY BLEED THROUGH!  I’ll be using a white gel pen to add in my daily tasks that I need to do as well as other activities we have going on this week. The page came together well and I look forward to the next mixed media spread that I will do. Until next time,

Happy Planning!

Hello Everyone, Happy Spring!!!!!

Today I will be sharing with you all my planner layout for this week. I tried to keep it as simple as possible this week, especially with the supplies.

Left Side Up Close

I love the little bunny stickers from a sticker set I found at Wal*Mart.  They are just too cute!   And of course every Monday should start off with fresh coffee to get your week going!

Right Side Up Close

On the right side of my layout, I wanted to make sure I honored the reason for the Easter Holiday which is celebrating the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Materials Used: (coffee break planner stickers); free printable from Pinterest, Target Dollar Spot Easter Sticker Set; Wal*Mart Easter Sticker Set; the Paper Studio Stick-a-bilities Religious Words Foil Sticker Set

Lastly, here is my full spread for the week.  I like the way the sticker printables along with the Easter and religious stickers all came together to make a fun filed welcome to spring layout.

How are you all planning your week?  Is it full of all things spring?  Well until next time,

Happy Planning!

Hello Everyone!

I’m not sure about you all, but this week isSpring  Break for us. So far the girls are truly enjoying their time off. They’ve had a spa day, Legos/movie day, a shopping day and the fun isn’t over yet!

So since both girls are with me this week, I once again catered my planner layout to something they both enjoy…the theme is…SHOPKINS!  For those of who who haven’t hear of shopkins they are tiny collectibles that come in the form of various food items, fashion items and even cleaning products!  LOL yes, this stuff is real!  And they are all over my house!  So here is this week’s layout.

Materials Used: Shopkins Collectable Stickers, printable. Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink, Sandra Amelia The Sassy Club Stamp Sets (Sassy Life, Planner Girl, Planner Doodles), Heidi Swapp Planner Stamp Set, Chic Tags Planner Addict Stamp Set , Heidi Swapp Decorative Tape

Yes, it is jammed packed with Shopkins goodness!  The girls really loved it!  So with that I hope you all are enjoying/enjoyed or will be enjoying a restful Sprig Break 2k16. Until next time,

Happy Planning!

Hello Everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you all my planner layout for this week. The theme for this week is Geek Life.

Here is the left side of my layout. The girl, I found on Pinterest. As usual, I used a combination of both stamps and printables.

Here is the right side. The girl was also found on Pinterest. She has to be my favorite vintage planner girl yet. I found her last year and have used her in several other projects. This is my first time using her in my planner.

Materials Used: the Paper Studio Washi Tspe, Stampabities I Heart Nerds Wooden Stamp, Clear Stamps: Heidi Swapp/The Saddy Club (Sassy Life, Planner Doodles, Planner a Girl)/Chic Tags (Planner Addict), VersaFine Onyx Black, Stickers: MAMBI Sticks/Recollections (Valentine’s Day)/Sticko (Glitter Hearts)/the Paper Studio Stick-a-bilities (Glasses, XL Glasses Foiled), Scrap Paper From Stash, Printables: Scrapcraftastic (All Black), (Trash Day), (Laundry Basket), Monica’s Marvels, (Free Printable),

Above is the full layout. I love the way it all came together. The girl on the left balances out the glasses on the right. And my I ❤️ Nerds banner was made from some scrap gelli prints I made in the Fall.   I wanted to capture my love of being a geek and I think I pulled it off in this layout. Until next time,

Product Review:  The Sassy Club Clear Stamp Sets

Hello Everyone!

Saturday I had the opportunity to sit down and play with my new stamps from Sandra Amelia’s The Sassy Club.

With these stamps, I decided to use Versafine Onyx Black Ink along with Memento and VersaMagic Inks as accent inks on Recollections 110lbs white cardstock from Michael’s.  I use baby wipes to clean my stamps hence the baby wipe container and I added the coffee for good measure. LOL

I decided to test out the Planner Girl Stamp Set first.  How cute is that Washi tape???  And the “Mama Needs A Drink” stamp is right on time. LOL. And the clip board can be use to write a quote or add tasks to be done for the day.   Next up was the Sassy Life Stamp Set.  This set is right on time for me as I was on the hunt for makeup brushes and a weight stamp. All the others are just added extra yummy goodness.

I simple adore both of these stamp sets!  The quality of the stamps are high quality. I love the small details and how Sandra added the filler stamps on each set so you can easily color them in with another ink if that is your pleasure.  I mean these stamps are just too stinkin’ cute!  I’m looking forward to using them I both for my planner, project life and future cards. If you have a chance you should definitely check out her stamps. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Until next time,

Happy Panning!
