New Happy Planner Cover

Hello Everyone!

Last night I was able to head to Michael’s to purchase the much anticipated Happy Planner Deluxe Cover-Classic.  When I saw the Me and My Big Ideas Periscope Video, I knew right away that I wanted the yellow, Plan A Happy Life Cover. So today I’ll be sharing that with you all!

As you can see there are a ton of new products to choose from…and Michael’s had a very tempting buy one, get one 50% off sale. But I was good and only got my planner cover for 50% off by using this week’s coupon!

So let’s take a look at this cover!

As stated before, I picked the yellow, Plan A Happy Life Cover. Yellow is one of my favorite colors and this is the brightest, happiest yellow ever!

Here’s a close up. I love the gold foil lettering and the gold heart snap button.

Here is the inside of the cover. As you can see, I’ve already placed my Happy Planner inside and it fits perfectly!  In the inside you have navy and white stripes and two pockets in the front as well as the pocket flap to put extra items in.

Another close up.

For the back of the planner you have another pocket where it seems as though you can possibly place a small notepad in it.  I also added a MAMBI cover to mine – so this way I can still enjoy the back cover that I made for my Happy Planner. I love that this cover came with a pin holder where I placed a matching blue pen.

Close up of he back pocket.

Here is a top view of the planner.

And a side view.   In case you are wondering, I have A MAMBI Dashboard, 9 Months of Monthly/Weekly Pages ( July 2016-March 2017), a Miscellaneous Tab with a folder I made from a file folder, 3 double side laminated pieces of pattern cardstock that has been laminated, 5 notes pages, and a Get It Done Tab, with a MAMBI Fitness monthly planner – just one month. All of this is within the Plan A Happy Life Cover along with the charms I have on my Happy Planner…and I feel confident that I will have room for growth.

On the bottom of the back cover you have the Happy Planner logo. All-in-all, it seems like the Happy Planner Cover is well made and I’m looking forward to using it!  Have you gotten a cover for your Happy Planner yet?  If so, I would love to see how it’s working for you. Until next time,

Happy Planning!

Mini Haul

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to share my Mini Hauls from the past few weeks. So let’s get started!

Here are some goodies that I picked up about two weeks ago from Hobby Lobby. I will be making a charm for my Mini Happy Planner with the planner embellishments by The Paper Studio. With the Bottlecap Sticker Pack, I will be making some more Epoxy Stickers. And I needed an extra storage tin for my Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks.

Last week and this week, I found myself at Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and Dollar Tree. And this is what I snagged!

First up, Michael’s!  I purchased these cute planner sticker labels for my Mini Happy Planner. With the Boho Market Necklace, I will be taking the tassel off and adding it to my    Mini Happy Planner Charm. This stamp set was just too cute to pass up….those little rain boots just caught my eye…and captured my heart. I just had to get it!  I hope to use these for some rainy day Scrapbooking Layouts…or maybe in Project Life…or as a Spring Planner Layout for April. You know April Showers bring May Flowers!

These alpha stickers by The Paper Studio have recently become my favorites, so I had to grab me some more.  The Decorative/Washi Tape was so pretty and I can’t wait to use it in my planner. And with the mermaid stickers….my youngest DD will be a mermaid for Halloween so I figured I could use some of these stickers for when I make a layout about her Halloween Costume.

Last up, DollarTree!  I’m kind of on this Emoji kick right now so I thought I would purchase the Emoji Washi Tape and I will be using the pencil Washi Tape for the girls Back-to-School Layouts. And then these bow-tie fashion paper clips will be perfect for my Mini Happy Planner!

So that is it for this Mini Haul.  Everything pictured came out to about $20 with tax included. So I was happy that I didn’t spend too much!  I hope you all enjoyed this post and until next time,

Happy Crafting!

Chic Planning:  October 24-30, 2016 Creepy Crawlies

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited about sharing this week’s planner layout with you all. The Washi Tape I use in the layout was purchased last month from Target, as well as the Rub-Ons. So once I purchased these items I completed this week’s and next week’s planner layouts just from sheer excitement!  Even though Halloween is next Monday, I went ahead and did a pre-Halloween layout for this week because we have a lot of Halloween activities going on. So let’s get started!

Here is the left side of my page. To create this look, I first used my Artist’s Loft Watercolor Set from Michael’s to create some black paint splatters. Next, I added the Washi Tape to the layout.

I did the same thing on the right side of the layout. I finished the layout by adding some of the Rub-Ons to the pages to complete the look.

Here is the full spread before the pen. I absolutely love the way this layout came out!!!!  It was so hard for me to add all the events of this week to this layout. LOL. Do you all ever have that problem?

Here is my full layout after the pen. Overall, I love the busy planner week full of bats and creepy spiders!  I hope you all enjoyed this post and will follow me on Instagram. Until next time,

Happy Planning!

Project Life Storage

Hello Everyone!!!!

Are you like me and have purchased quite a few Project Life kits?  If so, this post is for you!  In today’s post I will be sharing with you all how I store my Project Life Kits in two storage boxes. So let’s get started!

Here are the boxes I purchased from IKEA. This is the side view once I put them together.

And the top view. I ended up taking out one of the dividers so that I would have room for my 4×6 cards as well as the 3×4 cards.

Here is one of the completed boxes with 3-4 Project Life Kits. The storage boxes now fit nicely on my shelf and are easily accessible.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Until next time,

Happy Crafting!

Project Life Card Upgrade

Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to share with you all real quick how I upgraded this Project Life 3×4 card.

Here is a before and after of the card. The original card is really pretty and full of color. I just love it. However it was a little too light for my photos.

To tone the card down some, I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot and then using my Artist’s Loft Watercolor Set, I added some blue paint splatters.

To finish up the card, I added a VERY OLD Studio g Glitter Epoxy Sticker and a MAMBI Chips camera sticker.

I hope you all enjoyed this quick post. Until next time,

Happy Crafting!

Chic Planning:  October 17-23, 2016 Where the Flowers Bloom

Hello Everyone!

Today I will be sharing my planner layout for this week. It’s a little spring-ish, but I love all the colors and the look of it. I recently participated in a Mixed Media Postcard Swap through the Get Messy Group and received a beautiful post card and some extra goodies from Melody.  You can find her on Instagram or click here to visit her blog. She totally spoiled me!!!

I couldn’t wait to use some of my goodies on a planner layout so this week was the one!  So let’s get started!

The first thing I did when creating this layout is I went through the goodies. And selected these pieces from the Scarlet Lime – Planner Society Sticker Sheets and I cut the top and bottom portions of the note pad to create the half circles on my layout. I love the simplicity of this layout….in the beginning. But I had to fill it up with my plans for the week.

Here is the left side of my layout.

And the right side.

Here is the full spread. All-in-all, I like the way everything came together. I like the way my DIY dance stickers match the layout and the stamps by the Sassy Club paired well, especially when I added some watercolors to them. I also picked some inspirational quotes from my MAMBI sticker books.

I hope you all enjoyed this layout.  Until next time,

Happy Planning!
